Tell your Representative to Vote NO on SJR8

Senator Trent Garner and Senator Missy Irvin are the lead sponsors of a constitutional amendment to place a limit on the value of a child's life. It's called senate joint resolution 8. When Senator Garner was testifying Thursday on the floor of the Senate, Senator Larry Teague asked him how much money he would take for his child's life. Senator Garner replied, "there's no amount of money that I would take for my child. No amount of money in the world."

Then, why is Senator Garner and Senator Irvin seeking to pass this constitutional amendment? This matter goes to the house of representatives Monday.
